About Health England

Health England: the national reference group for health and wellbeing was established with a remit to take forward recommendations in the White Paper 'Our health, our care, our say: a new direction for community services'.  The work of Health England was completed in 2009.

The Chair of Health England was Professor Julian Le Grand, Richard Titmuss Professor of Social Policy,  London  School  of Economics and Political Science. 

The archive for Health England is based at Solutions for Public Health in Oxford which is an NHS organisation which includes the South East Public Health Observatory and the Oxford Cancer Intelligence Unit.  Archive queries can be addressed to  secretary@healthengland.org .
